Fine structure of X-ray OKα emission bands in lithium-manganese ferrites activated by Sc3+ ions

Description
X-ray OKα emission oxygen band in the group of magnetically soft lithium ferrites with rectangular hysteresis loop is first obtained. This band configuration is complex and by the number and disposition approaches it for FeKβ5 in the same ferrites, that permitted to make a proposal on pronounced hybridization between Fe 3d-states and oxygen 2p-states and on potential participation of the latter in Andersen indirect exchange. Influence on ferrite spectra of small Sc ion additions improving its properties is discussed
