Description
A present status of regulatory infrastructures for radioactive waste disposal, mainly results and situations of the discussion at Nuclear Safety Commission are described. At the present time, radioactive wastes which are possible to disposal are only limited for the radioactive waste generated from reactor operation and the waste of reactor internals which generated from operation and decommissioning. Regulatory issues of radioactive waste disposal other than these waste, which described above are now in the situation of under discussion. Discussions on clearance levels relating to the waste generated from reactors has been finalized at Nuclear Safety Commission. (author)
