Voltammetric determination of composition of indium-antimony alloys
- 1. Kujbyshevskij Politekhnicheskij Inst. (USSR)
Description
Anodic dissolution of indium-antimony alloys is studied in the sodium perchlorate solution. The process is accompanied by the formation of pronounced maxima on the current-potential curve at considerably different potentials. An electrochemical method for determination of phase composition of indium-antimony alloys is proposed. It makes possible the study of the alloy which coats the article in the form of fine layer. General content of metals in alloys have been determined on the basis of the composition-anodic dissolution current diagram using isub(ph)=f(Csub(ph)) as a calibration curve (isub(ph)-partial ionization current of a separate phase) depending on anodic maxima which appear on the current-potential curve
