Container for the transport of radioactive sludge
Description
Liquid radioactive materials containing a high proportion of solids are hard to remove from the safety transport containers. In order to remedy this, a transport container is proposed in which a vertically displaceable immersion pump is installed which whirls up and homogenizes the tank contents and then hauls it out. Fluessige radioaktive Stoffe, die hohe Feststoffanteile enthalten, lassen sich nur schwer aus den Sicherheits-Transportbehaeltern entfernen. Um dem abzuhelfen, wird ein Transportbehaelter vorgeschlagen, in dem eine vertikal verschiebbare Tauchpumpe installiert ist, die den Tankinhalt aufwirbelt und homogenisiert und dann nach aussen befoerdert.
