Description
The theory of resonance probe has been developed on a basic assumption that the primary important effect in the resonance phenomena is linear response of the electron distribution in a plasma to the oscillating potential superposed on the probe. In the present paper, effects of non-linear response of the electron distribution are examined by applying the van der Pol-Bogoliubov-Krylov expansion method. (author)
