Correlation in properties of systems including neutral rare earth atoms

Description
Properties of lanthanide neutral atoms depending on the element atomic number, are considered. The average atomic volume and polarizability of atoms are in direct proportion to atomic radii function. The density, melting temperature, tensile strength and electronegativity are connected with the forces of interatomic interaction and increase by decrease of atomic sizes. The considered properties vary by smooth curves excluding europium and ytterbium. Causes of observed deviations are considered
