Uranium enrichment with lasers
Creators
- 1. Ultra-Centrifuge Nederland NV, The Hague (Netherlands)
Description
Besides the usual procedures for enrichment of natural uranium to usable fuel for light-water reactors - with gas-diffusion or ultracentrifuges - a new technology seems to have good prospects. Separaion of uranium isotopes with laser light already appears to be possible in the laboratory. Research and development have to take care of commercial applicability. (author). 6 figs
