Philippe Boucly: Year after year we will present savings

In the middle of December last year gas distribution company Slovensky plynarensky priemysel (SPP) informed through Public Procurement Bulletin about two service contracts signed in total value of 1,23 bn Sk (30,22 mn Eur). Based on the provisions of these contracts companies Ruhrgas and Gaz de France (GdF), owners of a 40-percent stake in the company, will offer their experience to support SPP's restructuring. This short summary of the contents of the contracts was enough to make it a political issue. The first one to react was Chairman of political party SMER, Robert Fico who even mentioned tunneling. Minister of Economy, Pavol Rusko talked about a dubious approach taken by the Board of Directors, violation of the shareholders agreement, disregarding the objections raised by the Ministry.
