Description

This paper summarizes an outline of research on nuclear power plant aging in Japan. It also provides an outline of the aging related research projects currently conducted by Japan Power Engineering and Inspection Corporation (JAPEIC) under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), and provides application examples of the results of these research projects. The activities of the Nuclear Power Plant Life Engineering Center (PLEC) are also summarized in this paper. (author)
