Safety criteria for the first criticality in research reactors

The present work describes the main safety criteria to be taken into account and their concrete application to the NUR reactor in Algeria. These criteria consist of two parts: the first one summarizes the necessary theoretical aspects and the second one gives in detail the safety criteria implicit in the procedures used to reach the first criticality of the Algerian reactor. El presente trabajo describe los principales criterios de seguridad a tener en cuenta y su aplicacion concreta al reactor NUR, en Argelia. Consta de dos partes: la primera resume los aspectos teoricos necesarios, y la segunda detalla los criterios de seguridad implicitos en los procedimientos empleados para llegar a la primera en el reactor argelino.
