Study of the Yukawa coupling via e+e- → tt-barZ0 and νν-bartt-bar

  • 1. National Lab. for High Energy Physics, Tsukuba, Ibaraki (Japan)

Description

The possibility of measuring the Yukawa interaction between Higgs boson and top quarks at the TeV e+e- linear collider are studied. Two processes are considered in this study, such as e+e- → tt-barZ0 and e+e- → νν-bartt-bar. In the Monte Carlo simulation, it is assumed that mt = 130GeV, mH = 300GeV and √s = 600GeV for the tt-barZ0 process, and mt = 150GeV, mH = 600GeV and √s = 1000GeV for the νν-bartt-bar process. The cascade decays of t → bW, W → f1f-bar2 are treated by the helicity amplitude calculation package (HELAS). The analyses are based on the 6- or 8-jets events and W/Z/top reconstruction. The required integrated luminosity for these measurements is discussed. (author)
