Description
The interaction potential between two deuterons (d+) in solid palladium has been estimated using a theoretical picture which is well known in the physics of liquids. On the basis of this potential, the essential experimental results of others can be explained qualitatively. Thus, in their opinion, the description of cold fusion in condensed matter by means of usual solid state physics should not be excluded
