Tendency of Cr-Mo-V steel welded joints to radiation-induced embrittlement
Description
The effect of irradiation on the tendency of Cr-Mo-V steel welded joints to brittie metat failure is investigated. The welds are performed by electron beam electroslag- and automatic flux cored arc welding. The irradiation has been carried out at 448 K by the 2.5x1024 neutr./m2 fluence. The relationship between the welded joint microstructure features and the tendency to radiation-induced embrittlement is shown
