Double exchange magnetism in intermediate valency spinels
Description
It is shown that the double exchange model accounts very well for the magnetism in Znsub(1-x)Gesub(x)Fe3+sub(2-2x)Fe2+sub(2x)O4 (0 < x < 2) series. The delocalization of one electron is proved by the evolution of the mass center of the Moessbauer spectra with temperature. (orig.)
