Description
The dc electrical conductivities of polycrystalline Ln0.85Ca0.15MnO3 (Ln= Nd, Pr, Sm) manganites are reported for the temperature range 80-300 K. Different conduction models have been tried to fit the data and Greaves's VRH model at intermediate temperatures (θD/4< T< θD/2) is found to be more suitable to describe it. From the trend of activation energy and estimated temperature, it is concluded that the conductivity is in the non-adiabatic regime. (author)
