Electrical properties in La-Ga metallic glasses
Description
Concentrational and temperature dependences of specific electric resistance (SER) of amorphous alloys La-Ga, produced, by means of quenching from liquid state, have been investigated. It is established that experimental SER values and its resistance temperature coefficient (RTC) can be interpreted satisfactorily using the theory of Zeitman liquid metals. In particular, it is shown that the change of SER and RTC depending on alloy composition correlate with the degree of Fermi 2Ksub(F) sphere diameter proximity to s1 position of the first peak of structural factor. Maintenance of the condition 2Ksub(F) approximately s1 accounts for the negative sign of RTC in the amorphous alloys studied
