Annaul report 2004 of Central Safety Department, Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe

The Central Safety Department is responsible for licensing procedures and for supervising, monitoring and executing measures of industrial health and safety, radiation protection and security service at and for the institutes and departments of the Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe GmbH (Karlsruhe Research Centre), and for monitoring liquid effluents and the environment of all facilities and nuclear installations on the premises of the Research Centre. This report gives details of the different duties and reports the results of 2003 routine tasks, investigations and developments of the working groups of the Department.
