Research and comparison on nuclear safety supervision during construction stage of NNSA and NRC

With the progress in the construction of Chinese third generations of nuclear power plants, further strengthening nuclear safety surveillance has become a top priority in the following period during the construction phase of nuclear power plants. There is room for improvement in the methods of nuclear safety surveillance and management, such as resource allocation, systematics and effectiveness. This article will compare the differences in process and content of surveillance and inspiration during the construction phase of nuclear power plants between China and the United States, and hope to provide some reference for the nuclear safety surveillance and management of Chinese nuclear power plants under construction.
