Radioactive content in Portuguese wines (1951-1971)
Description
In this work we describe some considerations about the importance of a wine control quality, concerning the radioactive content susceptible to enter in a human diet. Results of total beta activity measurements and determination of radionuclides such as 90Sr, 137Cs and Uranium and Thorium radioactive families were determined in Fundao country wines (crops from 1951 to 1968) and in recent wines from different provinces
