Ion accelerator using plasma
Description
Here was not only focused to a Vp x B type accelerating method applicable to acceleration of proton, ion, and so on as well as to acceleration of electron, but also proposed on a proton acceleration method using wake field (plasma wave) accelerating method, to develop a compact proton accelerator. Mechanism of this Vp x B type acceleration is proved theoretically and experimentally, and is confirmed to have superior acceleration efficiency to that of conventional linear accelerator even without using plasma. And, it is used for a vacuum field electron accelerator using transverse wave, of which principle is actually proved. Here was proposed on a proton acceleration method applied of these acceleration method to report some results investigating its feasibility. (G.K.)
