256 channel pulse height analyser for personal computer

Pulse height analyser with 256 channels for applications with scintillation and proportional counters has been developed. It employs ready made monolithic 8 bit analog-to-digit converter supplemented by peak voltmeter and control circuits that are needed for operation of pulse height analyzer. The analyzer has the form of a single card that can be placed in I/O edge connector of the IBM PC computer or compatible. The conversion time with 12 MHz clock computer is less than 22 μsec.
