The article reviews publications within the framework of all-Russian conferences devoted to the problems of increasing the efficiency of acoustic screens in the urban environment. The proposed engineering solutions are identified and analyzed. The principles of the most rational placement of acoustic structures in the urban environment are formulated. (paper)
