Internal friction studies on reactions of carbon and nitrogen with lattice defects in neutron irradiated iron
Description
The annealing behavior of Snoek Peaks in neutron irradiated iron was studied. It was found that the appearance and disappearance of new internal friction peaks can be correlated with trapping and detrapping of interstitial foreign atoms (IFA) well enough to identify these peaks clearly with the relaxation of small complexes formed by trapping of IFA at radiation induced defects
