Realistic superstring models
Description
Realistic models from the heterotic superstring theory are reviewed briefly. Special attention is paid to the discrete symmetries linked to the topological and geometrical structure of the Calabi-Yau compacified manifold. The relation between the geometrical approach and the algebraic approach is also discussed. (author)
