DIN 25476:2023-03: Primary-coolant clean-up system in nuclear power plants with light water reactors

This document is applicable to the planning, construction, retrofitting and operation of systems for primary coolant cleaning (in the case of pressurised water reactors (PWRs)), reactor water cleaning (in the case of boiling water reactors (BWRs)), including degassing in nuclear power plants with light water reactors. This document is applicable to systems with purely operational tasks. Further requirements may apply to safety-relevant systems. This document is not applicable to systems for primary coolant treatment (3.7), systems for nuclear make-up water treatment (3.8) and pool water cleaning. This document was prepared by the working committee NA 062-07-55 AA "Auxiliary systems and operational monitoring in nuclear installations" of the DIN Standards Committee for Materials Testing (NMP). This document replaces DIN 25476:2012-11. Compared to DIN 25476:2012-11, the following changes were made: a) adaptation to the new radiation protection law (Radiation Protection Act and Radiation Protection Ordinance); b) editorial changes and implementation of DIN terminology.
