Description

Magnetic properties of mixed uranium selenides and of rare-earth elements of Ln2U2Se7(Ln-Tb, Dy, Ho, Er) composition are investigated over 4.2-300 K temperature range in magnetic fields with up to 100 kOe. It has been established that no magnetic ordering occurs at a temperature of up to 4.2 K. Over the range of 60-300 K the Curie-Weiss law is satisfied, the Curie paramagnetic temperature Θp is positive, it varies within the range of 12-22 K and is proportional to de Jene function. Magnetization curves determined at 4.2 K in the fields of up to 100 kOe tend to saturation. The results obtained are discussed in terms of RKKI theory
