Neutron yield from extended lead target under incident protons of 0.1 to 100 GeV
- 1. Rossijskaya Akademiya Nauk, Moscow (Russian Federation). Inst. Yadernykh Issledovanij
Description
The results of calculations of the neutron yield from a cylindric lead target (φ=20 cm, L=60 cm) irradiated with a proton beam of energy up to 100 GeV are presented. The modeling was made with the Monte-Carlo method based on the exclusive hadron transport code SHIELD. A comparison with available experimental data is also given. (orig.)
