Abnormal states of nuclear matter and π condensation
Description
It is demonstrated within the framework of field models of πN interaction that the instability of nuclear matter with respect to π condensation increases on approach of the Fermi velocity to the relativistic limit. The results are in agreement with the Migdal theory and indicate that π condensation shoul be taken into account in the Lee-Wick model for abnormal nuclear states
