Description

We have performed B11-NMR experiments of CuB2O4 using a single crystal with an operating frequency 6.8MHz down to liquid He3 temperatures in order to investigate the properties of the successive phase transitions. In addition to the two-step successive magnetic phase transitions at TN=21K and T*∼10K, we have found clear evidence of the first-order phase transition at around 0.8K under 0.5T. This phase boundary corresponds to the third transition at T**∼1.8K for zero magnetic field whose detail has been unclear so far
