New phosphate of tetravalent uranium

Description
Phosphate of tetravalent uranium found at the Kantugan ore deposit and characterized. The average index of refraction Nm=1.735. The composition is CaO 0.76-0.74, P2O5 20.62-18.70, V2O5 2.22-2.27, UO2 71.82-68.46. The monoclinic cell parameters are a=14.13; b=13.20 ± 0.03 A; space group -C2/m. 6 refs.; 2 figs
