Fine-structure atomic data calculation for Al XI

Description

In this work we report atomic data calculations for Al Li-like system. In our method we use a configuration interaction expansion for the target wave function including configurations 1s2nl with n≤5. The calculated energy of the states relative to the ground state agreed with the observed values to better than 2.5%. We carried out calculations of electric-dipole, -quadrupole and octupole fine structure line strengths in jj-coupling, for transition modes of type 1s2 nlj - 1s2 nlj, with n, n ≤ 5 in Al10+. These data are believed to be the first such values for this system and will be important in plasma diagnostics and X-ray lasers modelling. (orig.)
