Ensuring the safety of nuclear power plants with SCWR

Description
On the basis of analysis of published data on the safety of NPPs with Generation IV VVER-SKD-type reactors it was shown that VVER-SKD has advantages over VVER- 1000 by its main engineering, economical and thermal characteristics. Considering the conception of Generation IV reactors, it was found that improved safety systems will be provided for NPPs with reactors VVER-SKD. There were considered some ways of optimization of these systems
