Electroweak asymmetries in the production of a lepton pair with large transverse momentum in hadron collisions

Description
Within the framework of E6 superstring model the production of a heavy leptonic pair with large transverse momentum in hadron-hadron collisions ab → ll-bar X has been considered. Expressions for differential cross section of the process and various electroweak asymmetries have been obtained by introducing hadronic structure functions and taking into account the transverse polarization of leptons and hadrons. 30 refs., 3 figs
