Description
The pressure effect on the completeness of TaCsub(x) → Ta4C3 and TaCsub(x) → Ta2C transformations is considered. It has been found that high pressure (approximately 7 GPa) contributes to the nonstoichiometric TaCsub(x) transition to ordered Ta4C3 and Ta2C as well as extension of the existence of the latter. Completely TaCsub(x) into ordered phases are not transformed even at pressure up to approximately 9 GPa
