The ηN and ηNN states

Description
The coupled πN, ηN, γN, ππN systems are described by a K-matrix method. The ηD amplitude is calculated and the existence of a narrow virtual state in this system is inferred. This state couples strongly to the ηD channel but its effect on final state interactions in the pn → ηD reaction is shown to be rather weak
