Nuclear chemistry research and spectroscopy with radioactive sources. Sixteenth annual progress report
Description
Nuclear spectroscopic studies included the decay of 201Po to 201Bi, decay of 201At, decay of 187Au, and g/sub 7/2/ intruder band in 109Ag. A systematic comparison was conducted of the Interacting Boson-Fermion Approximation model predictions with experiment on neutron-deficient odd-A gold isotopes. An international comparison of 133Ba γ-ray standards was completed. L1, L2, and L3 subshells were studied, and the decay energy of 207Bi is being measured. Carrier-free 18F has been prepared in crown ether solution
