Description
Measured lifetimes for singly and doubly excited levels in B II of the Be sequence are reported. The results were obtained using beam-foil excitation. The doubly excited levels studied were the 2p3p 3S1, 3P2, 3D3, 2S0, 1P1, 1D2, and 2p3d 3D3, 3D1, with transitions in the region 630-1050 Angstrom. These results are compared with recent theoretical calculations. Cascade-correlated ANDC studies have also been made for the singly excited resonances transition of the 2s2p 1P1 which are compared with isoelectronic trends
