Description
Mass spectrometry was used to show that 21-methoxy-19-methyl-3, 6, 9, 12, 15-pentaoxabicyclo [15.3.1] heneicose-1(21), 17, 19-triene and its 21-hydroxyanalogue in gaseous phase reacts with cations, containing Fe, Co, Ni, Cr, Mn, Rh, Nd, Pr, Ga, In and Tl atoms with formation of ions with a new metal-macrocycle bond. The characteristic feature of 21-hydroxyderivatie is formation of complexes with metal-oxygen (macrocycle) σ-bond. Reactivity of cation acetylacetonate complexes (acac)2M+ with respect to macrocyclic derivatives changes in M=Co > Fe > Cr > Pr, Ga series. The relative yield of metal-containing ions with a new metal-macrocycle bond is higher for methoxyderivative as compared to hydroxyanalogue
