Description
It is ascertained that water-soluble polycelectrolyte-polyhexamthylenequanidine inhibits the process of copper (2) and cadmium (2) ion discharge on mercury dropping and stationary electrodes. The inhibiting effect is brought about by polymer adsorption on mercury and it depends largely on solution pH. The experimental data obtained permit determination of polyhexamethyleneguanidine in electrolytes for galvanic coating application
