Phase transformations in Ni-NiAl-Mo alloys

Description
Poluthermal cross section of system Ni-Al-Mo passing through isoconcentrate 14 at.% Al is constructed and occurrence of three nonvariant transformations at the temperature of 1130, 890 and 730 deg C is revealed, phase reactions at 890 and 730 deg C being detected for the first time. The presence of phase regions γ'+NiMo, γ'+Ni3Mo and γ'+Ni4Mo on the studied polythermal cross section is in a good agreement with actually observed structures in heat resisting alloys. Regions of alloy compositions, in the structure of which molybdenum-containing phases of NiMo, Ni3Mo, Ni4Mo type are present, within the temperature range of 1200 to 700 deg C are determined
