Description
A SFC (Sequential Function Chart) formalism is applied to provide a comprehensive understanding description of the control process for ITER. This methodology covers both the overall ITER plant level and individual subsystem level of operation. The detailed SFC graphs represent actual operation sequence and interface conditions to define appropriate plant operation status among whole plant subsystems and necessary machine protection interlocks against off-normal event occurrence.
