Feedwater control device for nuclear reactors

Description

Purpose: To automatically set the flow rate for aqueous boric acid and purified water so as to easily cope with frequent and complicate controls. Constitution: A feedwater control device for a nuclear reactor comprising a first flow rate control system for controlling the flow rate of aqueous boric acid and a second flow rate control system for controlling the flow rate of purified water, are provided with a memory section for storing the present and past operation data of the nuclear power plant, the future operation planning data, a computing section for calculating the planned boron density and the planned flow rates for aqueous boric acid and purified water by using the data and a setting section for successively setting the aimed flow rates for the aqueous boric acid and purified water based on the planned flow rates. An aimed aqueous boric acid flow rate signal is applied to the first control system and an aimed purified water flow rate signal is applied to the second control system. (Sekiya, K.)
