Diffraction dissociation and elastic scattering

Description
In the framework of Regge scheme with supercritical Pomeron a model is suggested for NN-scattering amplitude, which takes into account the contribution introduced to the intermediate state by diffractive dissociation (DD) processes. The DD amplitude is written in terms of the Deck model, which has been previously applied to describing the main DD features. The calculated NN cross sections are compared with experimental ones. Theoretical predictions for higher energies are presented
