Genetic action of radiation with different physical characteristics on human and mammalian cells

Description
The induction of HPRT-mutations and the survival of Chinese hamster cells were studied after exposure to accelerated 4He and 12C ions with various LET (20-360 keV/μm) and to γ rays. The linear-quadratic dose-effect curves were observed after exposure to radiation with LET up to ∼50 keV/μm. The regularities of unstable chromosome aberration formation in human lymphocytes were studied after exposure to γ rays, protons and 12C, 24Mg, and 14N ions (LET∼0.218; ∼12; 42.7 and ∼77 keV/μm, respectively)

Исследована индукция HPRT-мутаций и выживаемость клеток китайского хомячка при облучении ускоренными ионами 4He и 12C (ЛПЭ 20-360 кэВ/мкм) и γ-квантами. Выявлена степенная зависимость частоты возникновения мутаций от дозы излучений с ЛПЭ до 50 кэВ/мкм. Изучены закономерности образования нестабильных хромосомных аберраций в лимфоцитах крови человека после облучения протонами, ионами 12C, 24Mg и 14N (ЛПЭ∼0.218; ∼12; 42.7 и ∼77 кэВ/мкм, соответственно)Additional details
