Calculation of kinetic functions values of gold thiosulphate-ammonium leaching from the Tutli Deposit ore

Description

The article presents the results of studies of gold thiosulfate-ammonium leaching from the ore sample of Tutli Deposit with additives - sodium thiosulfate, sodium sulfite, sodium sulfate, ammonium sulfate, etc. To achieve maximum gold extraction, it has been proposed to dissolve gold at ph = 10-11, in the presence of air and the absence of a reducing agent at 60 deg C. At the same time, the total recovery of gold is 80.0% and silver - 25.3%. The kinetics of gold thiosulfate-ammonium leaching from selected sample of ore from the Tutli Deposit has been determined. The experimental apparent activation energy is 6.51 kJ/mol and its values are characteristic of processes occurring in the diffusion mode. (author)
