Description

The kinetic parameters for the reactions of the hydrated electron and the reducing radicals derived from methanol, ethanol and isopropanol with hypoxanthine at different pH are evaluated. The transient absorption spectra of the electron adducts formed under different pH conditions are interpreted in terms of the protonation equillibria. (author). 5 refs., 1 tab
