A semi-classical approach applied to the sequential α-emission in the deeply inelastic 16O(96 MeV) + 58Ni collision

Description
A simple theoretical approach, which describes in a single picture the evaporation component and the nonequilibrium component of the angular correlation between light particles and projectilelike fragments emitted in peripheral heavy-ion collisions, is applied to the out-of-plane and in-plane (O-α), (N-α) and (C-α) angular correlations from the 16O(96MeV) + 58Ni deeply inelastic collision. Some reaction mechanism information are deduced from angular-correlation data
