Description

Using the electromigration method a monopositive astatine ion has been shown to form AtL3- complexes with EDTA (H4L) in 0.1 mol.dm-3 NaClO4 solution at pH=3-10. The ion mobility of AtL3- complex has been determined to be 5.60(23) 10-4 cm2V-1 s-1 at 298 K. In the range pH 3-10 in the absence of EDTA no mobility of astatine anionic forms is shown
