Description

Results of analyses of operational events and the evaluation of the Bohunice plant operation in 1994 are presented. By 1994 the cumulative operation time of two V-230 units at the V-1 Bohunice plant and two V-213 units at the V-2 Bohunice plant was 49 reactor years. The load factors in 1994 were slightly lower than 80%, the mean value of the capacity factor for the Bohunice units was 84%. The operation of all V-1 and V-2 units was safe and reliable. No 1994 event was rated as most safety significant, and only 6 events were rated as medium safety significant. A list is presented of low and medium safety related events at the Bohunice plant in 1994. Summarized are the problems of HP ECCS safety injector pumps, and recurrent and new types of problems at V-1 NPP in 1994. A list of most safety significant events in former Czechoslovak nuclear power plants is given. (Z.S.) 2 tabs
