The sensitivity of GaAs: Cr detector used to measure the radiation pulse signal of fusion neutron

Description
A kind of GaAs photoconductive detector (PCD) was used to measure the radiation pulse signal of fusion neutron. According to the PIN detection system, the GaAs direct radiation sensitivity by 14.1 MeV neutron have calculated, the result is 1.52 x 10-20(1 +- 18%)C·cm2/mm3. The difference between the measured result and the precalculated value as well as the foreign report is very small respectively
